Kevin has held senior roles including managing director, regional director, general manager and head of business unit, in product marketing, sales & business development, and global marketing.
An award-winning sales and marketing professional, he has brought his expertise to a wide range of companies of various sizes and at diverse stages in their development. These include a leading supplier of computer solutions to innovative new technology startups. Recent work in his own consultancy has included providing commercial clients with business strategy and tactical implementation of projects in business development and marketing areas.
He mentors CEOs of small companies, providing a holistic approach to ensure success of new projects, or helping them plan their business before approaching new markets. His knowledge of the Asian information and communications sector, resulted in his appointment as "Director Japan" at Infobank PLC, which he joined in January 2000.
Since 2002, Kevin has been Managing Director of Alliantus Limited, a consultancy providing advice to government organisations and private sector companies in the UK and overseas. As a mentor to small businesses, he has an in-depth understanding of the pressures faced by technology companies looking to internationalise quickly. He has been involved in the development of strategies to establish technology alliances and other partnering initiatives in the sector in Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Russia, the UK and USA.
He became a Chartered Marketer in 1999 and was invited to be a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in 2007.
At Cambridge Open Systems, he draws on his knowledge of the issues facing businesses looking to become sector leaders, and is building the commercial process that will move the company forward into new areas.
